Hello. You look lovely today.

Now that I've got your attention, I'd like to tell you about a lovely thing called simply, "Join Me."

When bored comic writer Danny Wallace placed a small advert in Loot, he didn't know what he was getting himself into. The advert read:

JOIN ME

SEND ONE PASSPORT-SIZED PHOTO TO:

...followed by his address. This was on the off-chance that a stranger would show an interest, he was interested to see what would happen. Like I said, he was really bored.

One man, now known as "Joinee Jonesy", sent his photo, to Wallace's surprise. From there, it grew and grew, very quickly. It wasn't long before he had 200 followers, or Joinees, so it was then he realised he should come up with a purpose...

With an army of thousands across the globe, Join Me now partake in Random Acts of Kindness (RAoK'S), especially on Fridays (he thought of it on a Friday).

So help us cheer the world up, and remember
